Strontium Dihydrophosphite, SrH4P2O6

Strontium Dihydrophosphite, SrH4P2O6, is obtained by dissolving strontium carbonate in phosphorous acid in the proportions of one molecule of the former to two of the latter. It forms small crystals which are unaffected by heating to 100° C. By dehydration the pyro-phosphite, SrH2P2O5, is obtained.
