Strontium Selenite, SrSeO3

Strontium Selenite, SrSeO3, is obtained by the action of an alkali selenite on a soluble strontium salt in either acid or neutral solution. Whether it is anhydrous or hydrated depends upon conditions, the two hydrated forms known being SrSeO3.3H2O and 2SrSeO3.7H2O (?). An acid salt, SrH2Se2O6, may also be obtained.
