Strontium Selenite, SrSeO₃

Strontium Selenite, SrSeO₃, is obtained by the action of an alkali selenite on a soluble strontium salt in either acid or neutral solution. Whether it is anhydrous or hydrated depends upon conditions, the two hydrated forms known being SrSeO₃.3H₂O and 2SrSeO₃.7H₂O (?). An acid salt, SrH₂Se₂O₆, may also be obtained.
