Strontium Uranate, SrUO4
Strontium Uranate, SrUO4, is obtained in small yellow crystals by fusing strontium chloride with green uranium oxide, U3O8, and the diuranate, SrU2O7, by heating uranium oxide with strontium chlorate. The amorphous diuranate may be crystallised from solution in fused strontium chloride.
