Strontium Hyposulphite, SrS2O4
Strontium Hyposulphite, SrS2O4, is obtained by the action of sulphur dioxide on strontium hydride at a pressure above one atmosphere. Hydrogen is liberated at the same time. A solution of the salt is a powerful reducing agent.
