Strontium Orthoplumbate, Sr2PbO4
By heating together strontium carbonate and lead oxide in air, a chocolate-coloured compound, Strontium Orthoplumbate, probably of composition Sr2PbO4, is formed. It is insoluble in water, but is slowly decomposed by it and also by acids.
